Starting this back up c0mments! Lets see where to start. There has been so much that has happened sent my last sport post. Lets see there was the big three D. Wade, Lebron James, and Chris Bosh; Mavs won the finals; D. Rose get MVP; Packers won the Super Bowl; NFL has a lockout; NBA has a lockout; Auburn won the BCS title; Cam Newton's dad took money from a school; Cam Newton because number 1 pick; Falcons jump up to get Julio Jones; and Peyton Manning missing his first game. Ok I guess I would start with the big three. Why people started getting mad because they talked about playing together long before this happen. And yeah I know the decision was a dumb idea on LeBron James part but fans have to get over that. The man was a free agent he was free to go wherever he wanted to go. The critics say that they would needed time to make it to the NBA Finals so when they do and lose don't try to put down their players. I know Lebron looked like a deer in headlights, but remember the last time he was there he was the best player on his team. Or even better maybe he is just tried of carrying teams. I know he has D. Wade and Bosh but D. Wade was hurting and it was Bosh first time. Now if there is a season this year I look for them to know there role. D. Wade as the main guy in some of the regular season and the whole playoffs, Lebron as the main guy in most of the regular season and robin to Wade's batman in the playoffs, and Bosh hold the team over if everyone else is having an off day and get rebounds in both regular season and playoffs. Lets see now on to D. Rose winning the MVP. People say the only reason he got the award was because of the decision from Lebron which made him public enemy number one. Now I am not one of them. If you was to take Rose off the Bulls they would not have even made the playoffs. To me that's what a MVP is. Well that's it for today tomorrow I will talk about Cam Newton, Auburn, and Cam Newton's dad.

NBA begins c0mments! The NBA season started yesterday with a notable difference. There was Shaq as a Cav. Artist as a Laker, Vince Carter as a Magic, Iverson as a Grizzle, Richard Jefferson as a Spur, Rasheed Wallace, as a Celtic, and Ben Gorden as a Piston. Now all of them didn't play yesterday but this off season has made good teams better and has made bad teams worst. The Cavs just give Lebron a dominiate big man so now they just have to build an offense to fit both Lebron and Shaq. So that doesn't mean have 4 guys outside the 3 point line and one guy near the basket. I know that sounds like it may work cause it clears the lane for Lebron room to work when he drives but if the other players aren't moving around and aren't hitting their jump shots that just mean their defenders can play off them and help on Lebron and the dish to Shaq. Now on defense they are going to have to dial up the pressure so Shaq don't get stuck trying to guard mobile big men and big men who can shoot the outside shoot. Now in LA the Lakers upgraded their defense by adding Artist. Sure he is not as faster as Ariza but he is as physical or even more. He can guard anyone from the 2 spot all the way to the 5 spot depending upon how tall they are. The down side is if he decides to go crazy in the middle of the season. So if Artist keeps his head they have made a really good up grade. Let's see we have Iverson in Memphis who I don't think is going to work. They already have a good back court with Conley and Mayo so I guess that leaves Iverson on the bench. I know Iverson wants that all important ring but the teams that may win it don't need him so it may be time to give it up. Now Vince Carter in Orlando can work if they run the ball through Howard kind of like how the Spurs do with Duncan. So with Carter hitting his jump shot and driving to the basket from the oppisite side of Howard that can be a good combnation. Let's see Richard Jefferon as a Spur is good for the Spurs. They get a good player in Jefferson if they srtart him or bring him off the bench and they get a little younger as well. Rasheed Wallace I think is a perfect fit in Boston. He isn't the number one guy and isn't the main focus on for the other team. So that leaves others teams in consant mtich match problems. Then you have Ben Gordon in Detroit. This can be a good move for them depending on how they play him. They also picked up Charlie Villanueva and Ben Wallace. With the big men they lose over the offseason the best big man pick up they did is Villanueva. Ben Wallace hasn't been the same since he signed that big contract with thwe Bulls. Now for my Hawks made some ok moves by bringing in Joe Smith and Jamal Crawford. Tonight I will see how this will workout for the Hawks.

Just an update c0mments! "The wages of sin is death, but by the time taxes is taken out, it's just sort of a tired feeling."I'm back. After being gone for months I am finally back. There are alot of things that has happened since I've been gone. The Pats are 18-0; Tom Brady broke Peyton Manning's single season passing touchdown record; Rand Moss (who is also a Pat) broke Jerry Rice's single season receiving touchdown record; Micheal Vick sentenced to 23 months in prision; Bobby Petrino quits on the Falcons before the season was over; Rick McKay steps down from GM for the Falcons after the season; Auther Blank hires Tom Dimitroff (former Pats director of college scouting) as GM; Auther Blanks hires Mike Smith (former Jac defensive coordnator) as head coach; the Gaints make it to the SuperBowl with Eli at QB; SpyGate, and all of this is just for football. Tom Brady and Randy Moss broke Peyton Manning and Jerry Rice's records on the same play and they didn't know who should get the record setting ball. I feel SpyGate and the Pats going 18-0 go hand and hand. In week one the Pats was caught cheating agianst the Jets, but after that they went on to show the world that they could beat the living daylights out of any oppent. New York was calling for Eli's heas at the beginning of the season. I guest he stop listening to what they was saying about him because if remeber correctly he hasn't thrown a int. so for through the playoffs.

Yesterdays Game c0mments! If you would have seen yesterdays game you would be wondering why the Falcons are not 1-2. Well for those who didn't see the game there wasn't any problem with the defense. There wasn't even any problems with the offense. The first three quarters of play the Falcons D was shutting down the Panthers offense. Even in those first three quarters the Falcons offense actually put up some good numbers yesterday. The offensive line should everyone that they can block not only for the run but also for a qb that isn't mobile. Joey Harrington had 361 passing yards and 2 touchdowns on the day. Roddy White had 127 receiving yards and 1 touchdown. Alge Crumpler had 63 receiving yards and 1 touchdown. Then on defense we had Chris Crocker with a sack. John Abraham had 2 sacks. Rod Coleman had 1 sack as well. So our defense was getting to the Panther's qb. The only problem we had is penalties. The Falcons had 10 penalties against them for a total of 137 yards. Next week we need to work on not making so many penalties and why should be able to pull our first win against the Texans.

Falcons QB Problems c0mments! Who will be the starting qb for the Falcons tonight against the Panthers? If you ask Bobby Petrino he will tell you Joey Harrington, but the people may feel that Byron Leftwich should get the start. Well Byron Leftwich has had a good couple of practices should he really be the one to start tonight. We should wait a game or so. This way Byron Leftwich can learn the offense a little better, know where the strength of the offensive line is, and who will emerge as the big play receiver. Even though there is alot of talk surrounding Joey Harrington and Byron Leftwich people has seen to forgot about Chris Redman. I don't know why Chris Redman didn't get the starting job at the beginning of the season. Chris Redman looked better in the preseason and he showed that he can handle not having a good pass blocking offensive line. I say start Chris Redman tonight against the Panthers and maybe against the Texans to see how he doesn't. If after the first game or halfway through the first game he isn't doing well take him out and put in Byron Leftwich. Thats how I feel the Falcons qb problems should be handle but I am not the coach i am just a devoted fan blogging about it stating may own opinion.

Falcons upgrade c0mments! The Falcons has finally realize that a the need "a" kicker and "b" they need a qb that can throw. First they went out and got Morton Anderson who is the best kicker the Falcons has had over the past 6 or 7 years. I know they address the kicking situation this off season but Prater has miss three field goals over the past two games. All of them went wide right. Thats a problem. If he would have hit the two he miss Sunday may be it would have been a different out come. Now on to the qb fix we have going on. Joey Harrington started to show some life last Sunday but he is not a starting qb. The person I felt should have had that spot is D. J. Shockley. He has the speed to escape the pocket that this o-line doesn't protect well and he has a nice arm, but then he got hurt in the pre-season and is out for this season. So they sign Byron Leftwich who isn't quick but knows how to get rid of the ball. People may say he is still hurt but I say keep telling him his ankle is fine and go people like you always play. So lets put Byron Leftwich or Chris Redman in as the starting qb and lets see how our offense look then.
